Photography
Bio: Born in Miami, I now live in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
For thirty years my husband and I owned and exhibited in the "Clibbon
Gallery", of Provincetown, Mass. It was a seasonal gallery. In the other
seasons we exhibited at many fine outdoor art shows in Fl. During this time, I
also taught for 15 years in the public school system and we raised two
wonderful sons. Now, I am retired and love taking photos of the sights and
signs of the streets I walk. They are shot on site and not collages.
In experimenting with film based photography I take pictures on site,
shooting multi-imaged photos. These images are created by random film
advances and double exposures. Some appear abstract, while others are
combinations of several fanciful subjects. All are printed on archival canvas or
photographic paper. The photos are signed, limited editions.
When shooting photos digitally, I create images by looking for reflections,
colors, shapes, shadows and double exposures on site. I try to
incorporate the surroundings as part of the story. The images are printed with
archival materials and are signed, limited editions.
"The subject matter has changed over the years. At this point in my life I
choose to follow my inspiration in any given day. I hope you
enjoy my gallery of images."
